Team MD is headed to Germany this week for the 2013 FIBO Championships! The battle royale of this contest is sure to be the match-up of last year’s winner, Johnnie Jackson versus Cedric McMillan. Both men are members of Team MD. Neither is qualified for the 2013 Olympia, but odds are one will be by the end of the week!
There are a few other notable contenders, such as Jeff Long, Ed Nunn, and Ronny Rockell. If traveling gets the better of Cedric or JOJ, there’s room at the top for any of these three. And never count out Michael Kefalianos. If he brings his trademark conditioning back, he could make top callout as well.
Of course, there’s also some female fitness action going on in Cologne. Fitness fans will be in for a treat. There are currently two women tied for the number one spot in the Olympia point standings, Bethany Cistenino and Regiane Da Silva. Both are competing here. Da Silva does have the home country advantage. We’ll see if that’s enough to beat out Cistenino. Although, it’s hard to imagine anyone beating her in the physique round here.
