Dennis Wolf wins Prague Pro 2012

Shawn “Flexatron” Rhoden’s bid for win #5 in 2012 fell short in Prague and Team MD’s Dennis Wolf is the man responsible to ending the streak. Wolf came in looking an all time best and reminded the world he’s a very dangerous man. The Wolf we saw today is the competitor that can challenge for an Arnold Classic title in February.

As for Rhoden, it might just be that the travelling and rigorous schedule finally got the best of him and his conditioning. He was still good enough to nab second, narrowly beating out Team MD's Johnnie Jackson. Ed Nunn moved from ninth in Madrid into the fourth place spot here, looking much better than he had in Spain. Toney Freeman and Robert Robert Piotrkowicz took fifth and sixth, respectively.

212

Flex Lewis winsThe 212 Division saw the return or the Flex Lewis vs. Sami Al-Haddad battle. They were close a week ago at the British Grand Prix and this week was just a tight of contest. Both men made slight changes to their physiques in the one-week that they had since the last time they faced off. In the end, Flex was able to hold Sami at bay one more time. There is no doubt we will see this match up many times over in the future. Eduardo Correa, who had taken fourth in Manchester, moved up a notch here and rounded out the top three.

Bikini

Both Jessica Munro and Noemi Olah came to Prague after recent second place finishes – Munro at the Houston Pro and Olah last week in Manchester. It was quickly evident that they both came to win. Munro had a tighter, more athletic physique, while Olah was softer and leaner. Just as bodybuilding shows are often won from the back, so are bikini competitions and this where Munro is at her best. She walked away with the win while Olah was relegated to third. Anna Virmajoki edged out Olah for the second plance spot.

Amateur Bikini Olympia

Justine MunroThe evening started with the Amateur Bikini Olympia and it was quite a warm up for the pros. The winners of all three classes were stunning, but neither Valeria Amirato or Karina Antovsaka could match the spectacular stage presence of eventual overall winner Vladimira Krasova.
