21-year old Trey Brewer of Atlanta, GA traveled over 3000 miles to compete in the annual year-end NPC Excalibur Championships in Culver City, CA.  In winning the super heavyweight class and overall, Brewer showed that with enough drive and determination, anything's possible.

It was only a few years ago that Trey was the star fullback on his high school football team.  During that time, he ran an impressive 4.62 40 yard dash and repped 185lbs on the bench press for 46 consecutive reps.  During this time, Trey also successfully competed in powerlifting competitions around the state.  However, rather than pursue football glory or worry about breaking bench press records, Brewer concentrated on bodybuilding and in 2005, at age 19, he took an impressive 3rd place in the heavyweight class at the NPC Teen Nationals.  img_7536

Not one to rest on his laurels, the man with thighs reminiscent of the great Mike Francois decided to test the waters at the ultra competitive national qualifying NPC Excalibur.  The result; a super heavyweight class and overall victory that validates the reality that this 21-year old has got a very bright future in the NPC.

In the women's Figure competition, Crystal Sheppard won the Figure B Class and Overall (as well as the Masters 35+ short class and Overall)

In Women's Bodybuilding, Rose Kasallis easily won the heavyweight and overall title
