Ready for the Arnold Classic

What’s Next for Quadro?Since I have never done the Arnold Classic, I thought, what better way to start off the year than with the first show of the year, making my pro debut in the Arnold Classic? After being a top guy in the Olympia, I know I can give anyone who shows up a run for his money— and I plan on doing just that. I will shut it down and take about four weeks off from the gym, and then start a short off-season and run that right into my 12-week prep for the Arnold Classic. I am very excited about competing in this show, and I can’t wait to see the package that I bring to the stage.

Big Things to Come From Centurion Labz

We are growing day-by-day, and I couldn’t be happier than the team we have on deck. Myself, along with doctors Nick Puccio and Joe Kepko, sales director Keith Longenecker and Adam Capuano, who does all the warehouse inventory, sending and receiving orders along with being a pharmacist— we have a lot that we all bring to the table in growing the company. We are becoming a more white-market company, releasing Unrivaled (protein and HBCD combo), Prevail, which is our creatine and glutamine combo, and we recently released our pharmaceutical-grade fish oil and our new Trance sleep formula. It’s not stopping there, either. My Quadro series is set to release two more products soon— my stimulant-free pre-workout and my BCAAs, which I cannot wait for. Keep an eye out for big things to come from the Centurion Labz team!

No Long Workouts – Just Get the Job Done

What are the main areas you will be focusing on

Well, since bringing up my upper body in the past few years, my legs have also followed suit, so I need to focus again on more upper body thickness and back development. My upper body just needs more overall roundness and fullness, and although my back is always peeled, I need more depth and thickness so it shows in my front double bicep pose and my quarter-turns. I already spoke to Charles Glass about that, and we have our game plan already set in place when I come back into the gym. We spoke about cutting back on volume and overall training time, and hitting the muscle hard, heavy and fast. No long, drawn-out workouts— we need to stimulate the muscle but not overwork it. Muscles grow when they are recovering, so we are going to ensure that my workouts are short and sweet and get the job done— giving me time to rest, recover and grow!

I Knew I Was BANG On

How did you feel about your placing at the 2015 Mr. Olympia?

When they first called me out in the first callout, it was the biggest adrenaline high of my life! I knew I was BANG on, I had done everything Chris Aceto and Charles Glass asked of me, and I couldn’t have been any better that day. I saw myself in third, and this is why. Flex and Jose looked great, so props to those two dudes for bringing it to the stage. Hide looked very, very flat to me. Although he has amazing stage presence, I thought the flatness took away from his physique a lot. David looked great from the front, but his legs are still something he needs to bring up— and when he turned around, although he had a crazy back, his glutes and hamstrings where VERY soft. Eduardo came into Vegas at 224 pounds and sucked down to make weight, and it showed this time. He was very off from the crazy Eduardo we all have seen onstage, so I thought in all honesty, I could have been as good as third and as low as fifth, depending upon the poses. I was sixth, which was my best placing to date, and now that I cracked the top six, nothing will stand in my way at beating those guys to earn my spot on that stage. Congrats to all the competitors in the show … I love being onstage with all of you, and look forward to a great 2016 with you all!
