Team MD'S #1 CONTEST COVERAGE

Hidetada Yamagishi had to pull out of the PBW Tampa Pro due to a Leg Injury sustained earlier in the week while training in Los Angeles.

Hide felt he had put in so much work he would try to give it a go, by end of Prejudging the pain would not allow this Iron Warrior to continue.
There was speculation at Prejudging that Hide looked to be hobbled by something and now we know why.
His upper body was near "Peak" but his lower body was considerably Softer leaving him somewhere around 5th to 7th place from where I sat.

From TEAM MD, here's wishing a Speedy Recovery for one of the hardest working men in all of Professional Bodybuilding!

Some more information was supplied by Hide's trainer, Eric Di Lauro, who posted the following in the MD forum:

Let's get the facts straight Shawn before we miss-guide the MD fan's. Hide hasn't been in Los Angeles since July 8th he was in Tampa when the injury was sustained. The day after the New York Pro he was doing a photo shoot for MMI and was pressing a lot of weight " was not smart" and felt a twinge on his upper quad tie in . Returning to Los Angeles had a MRI, which indicated a slight tear so he began tons of therapy and deep tissue work and even a chiropractor for his tight hips. In the mean time he had not trained quads once since the New York Pro, I stated to him many times that he should not compete at the Tampa show or Connecticut because it could jeopardize is Olympia Prep. even Jay Cutler told him the same. His body was telling him that it needed rest. Now this past Tuesday he was doing a pre contest pump up on leg extensions and he felt a slight pull "tear" near the lower quad knee area and that’s when all the inflammation occurred and just washed up his leg completely. So for all of you that are interested that’s the story!!
