California’s Largest IFBB Pro League Event is November 10th at Legion Sports Fest

LONG BEACH, CA (October 22, 2019) – The 2nd annual Legion Sports Fest presented by Reign Total Body Fuel returns to Long Beach Convention Center & Beverly O’Neill Theater November 9th and 10th 2019.  This fitness weekend in Long Beach features 12 sports, 1,500+ athletes, seminars, celebrities, parties, DJs, and over 150 vendors.  A headlining sport of Legion Sports Fest is IFBB Pro Bodybuilding with six divisions: Men’s Bodybuilding 212, Men’s Classic Physique, Men’s Physique, Women’s Physique, Fitness, and Figure. These IFBB Pro League athletes will compete for $26,000 in cash, an S-Force watch, and a large custom superhero trophy.

Over 100 IFBB Pro athletes from 15 different countries have submitted their contracts to compete.  This number is far ahead compared to last year’s Legion Sports Fest IFBB Pro League event on September 29th 2018.  “I guess we did something right last year.”, laughed Chris Minnes, producer of the Legion Sports Fest. “But seriously, we’re stoked to receive this kind of support. Our goal is to give back to the athletes and when we grow, the more we can give back. I think given that we are athletes ourselves, we’re all pretty in sync.”

Mr. Olympia Danny Hester had this to say about the event, “Amazing show.  Incredible venue.  I couldn’t be happier to be here,” said Danny Hester the first IFBB Pro Classic Physique Mr. Olympia.

Some confirmed IFBB Pro League athletes include: David Henry, Dani Younan, Anna Adams Chism, and Stacy Boyce.
Many athletes are coming straight from the Mr. Olympia hope to get an early qualification for the 2020 Olympia.

“A real-life superhero is someone who is in full pursuit of their own maximum potential.  They also help lift others by sharing knowledge, providing motivation, and showing people how to ignite their own superpowers.  This is what Legion Sports Fest is all about,” said Chris Minnes, founder/owner of Legion Sports Fest and Center Podium productions.

Legion Sports Fest identified six of these fitness superheroes to create The Legion of Olympians.

The Legion of Olympians are an elite group of some of the top Mr. and Ms. Olympia champions in the world with 21 combined Olympia titles!  They found their inner superhero along with their fitness competition careers and are driven to give back to the sport by sharing their knowledge and experience to help aspiring athletes across all sports.  The Olympians include:

•4x Ms. Fitness Olympia, Oksana Grishina
•4x Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler
•3x Ms. Bikini Olympia, Ashley Kaltwasser
•The first-ever Classic Physique Mr. Olympia, Danny Hester
•The first-ever Men’s Physique Mr. Olympia Mark Anthony
•8x Ms. Olympia, Lenda Murray

What’s in it for NPC athletes?
In order to help NPC athletes “find their fitness superpowers” and learn how to reach IFBB Pro League status or even Mr. and Ms. Olympia status, Legion Sports Fest has created Stage Ready Seminar.

For $45 on Sunday, November 10th, one can attend the Legion Sports Fest EXPO, IFBB Pro Pre-Judging, and the Stage Ready Seminar.

This seminar will consist of ten Olympians with a combined total of 23 Mr. or Ms. Olympia Titles, and the Olympia head judge Sandy Williamson.  The presenters include Jay Cutler, Mark Anthony, Oksana Grishina, Danny Hester, Ashley Kaltwasser, Lenda Murray, Bojana Vasiljevic, Jennifer Dorie, Whitney Jones, and Helle Travino. Plus special presentations form Eric “Merlin” Broser.

“I basically wanted to create the ultimate, A-Z contest prep seminar for NPC athletes, with a once in a lifetime opportunity to get to interact face-to-face with the absolute best in the world!” said Chris Minnes, founder, and promoter of Legion Sports Fest.
