In it's continued growth to position themselves as one of the biggest name in Nutritional Supplements in the fitness industry, IronMag Labs has added another high profile athlete to their stable. Signing with the Henderson, Nevada based company is the San Diego native and 2014 Super Heavyweight USA Mens bodybuilding runner up Big Jon Ward.
The 33 year old Ward comes from a long athletic background where he excelled in both football and track & field. He was first introduced as a young teen to the weight room as a supplement to his football training by his father. Big Jon was hooked, and never left the gym. Jon lives up the the moniker Big Jon as he stands 6' tall and weighs in at more than 320lbs in the off season.
After his first bodybuilding competition in 2003, he took some time off to focus on his career and financial future. 9 years later, Jon made a big splash by taking the Super Heavyweight title at the 2012 NPC Los Angeles Grand Prix, which qualified him for the national stage. In 2013, he made first call out in the Super Heavyweight class at the NPC USA's, and in 2014 was named the runner up in the same class on the same stage. Big Jon has his eyes set again on the USA stage this year with nothing but the overall in his sights.
