 2013 Greater Gulf Results - Day 2

Just one week after winning his IFBB Pro Card in Men's Physique at the 2013 Jr. Nationals in Chicago, newcomer Jeremy Buendia has already found himself qualified for the inaugural Men's Physique Olympia Showdown. He becomes only the eighth man to qualify for this event, joining the likes of Mark Anthony Wingson and Matt Christianer. Jeremy beat a very stiff line-up in New Orleans, and immediately has made himself one to watch. It remains to be seen what his next move will be.

In Women's Physique, Tycie Coppet has now added her name to the list of Olympia-qualified athletes by winning the Women's Physique portion of the show. Two-time-winner Tamee Marie was relegated to third place at this show behind both Tycie and former fitness competitor, Mindi O'Brien.

In Pro Bikini, Amanda Latona walked away with another career win notched in her belt! When she is on, she's just hard to beat. Brand new pro Liana Hamilton placed a respectable third place. No doubt we'll see her qualify for the Olympia this year whether by points or by a win.
