 Arnold Classic Prep: Evan Centopani and Jose Raymond Back Workout

Going Strong at 5.5 Weeks Out

 

14evjoback5.5Two Muscular Development fan favorites team up again for a back workout at Greater Boston Gym, 5 weeks out from the Arnold Classic 2014. Evan Centopani and Jose Raymond like these video workouts because it’s making them dig a little deeper and get through the workout faster.

Evan stayed in shape after the Olympia and only started dieting 6 weeks ago. This prep he isn’t putting all of his thoughts into bodybuilding, as he also has business in mind and he’s finding that it’s helping him focus better on his workout when he’s in the gym.

Jose, on the other hand is eating, sleeping and living this prep. That seems to be working for him since he is feeling great and doing better every week. He’s on a mission to redeem himself after his last time out where he was disappointed with his showing.

We’ll be seeing more of these two training together in the weeks leading up to the Arnold Classic 2014. So keep checking back to MD for more workouts.

The Back Workout:

Exercise 1.) Cable Pullovers:
3 sets x 15 reps

Exercise 2.) Underhand Grip Pulldowns:
4 pyramided up sets x 10-15 reps

Exercise 3.) Barbell Rows:
4 pyramided sets x 8-12 reps

Exercise 4.) Machine Rows:
(Elbows angled up/Upper back) 4 sets x 12-15 reps

Exercise 5.) Giant Set Dumbbell Rows:
(Non-stop back and forth each side 3x) 2 sets of these

Exercise 6.) Deadlifts:
3 pyramided sets 10-12 reps
